Instructions |
When using your live conference
call number you must notify your
callers by giving them the date,
time, dial-in number and access
code. All parties will use the
same dial-in number and enter
the same access code, followed
by the * or # key as specified
below.
Host: When prompted,
enter the assigned access code,
followed by the * key.
Participant: When
prompted, enter the assigned
access code, followed by the #
key.
Once connected to the live
conference, every caller will be
able to talk. Every caller will
also have access to the touch
tone commands listed below.
Recording Instructions
During the live conference, the
host can start recording at any
time by pressing 9. The system
disconnects him/her from the
live conference and prompts for
the Subscriber PIN. If the
Subscriber PIN is valid, the
host is returned to the
conference and all attendees are
notified that the recording
option has been started. To stop
the recording, the host will
press 9 again.
NOTE: The system holds only the
current recording. Your next
recording will overwrite the
existing recorded conference
call.
Play Back Instructions
To listen to the recorded
conference, the host must
provide attendees with the play
back number and access code.
Please note, this number is
different from the conference
dial-in number. When users call
into the recording playback
number, they will be prompted to
enter the access code. Once
confirmed, the system will play
back the recorded conference. |

* is for administration, # is
for callers.
Listed below are the detailed
instructions on how to use your
Simple Voice Box.
For someone calling into to
listen to your voice box have
them dial (your
FTC number) and they will be
instructed to enter your
extension number followed by the
# key. Simple.
When you are creating your
outgoing message it is important
for you to detail what you would
like the listener to do when
they are finished hearing your
message. If you have decided to
let them leave a message, then
we suggest you ask them to leave
a message after they hear the
tone and to hit the # key when
they are finished. The system
will provide them with some
other options at that point.
Final note, the system will
allow the caller to skip to the
end of the outgoing greeting if
they hit any key during the
message. This is great if all
they want to do is to leave you
a message. If you want, you must
let the callers know this.
To access the administration
mode, enter your extension
followed the * instead of the #
key. You will be prompted to
enter your password, then hit
the # key
.
